Air Liquide to build 130 mln euro industrial gas plant for Evraz

KEMEROVO, Jul 19 (PRIME) -- France’s Air Liquide has started construction of a 130 million euro industrial gases plant that would supply oxygen, nitrogen, and argon to a plant of U.K.-based mining giant Evraz, which operates mainly in Russia, in the Kemerovo Region, the region’s government said in a statement on Friday.

The plant will comprise two air separation units, and will be launched in 2021. It should raise power efficiency and the level of environmental friendliness of Evraz in the region, the government said.
